Scatterbrained Inspiration

I left my xbox 360 at home over Thanksgiving. I didn't want it to distract me from my work and finals. I'm glad I made that decision. Those three sentences have no business in this post. Something has been calling me to John Mayer lately. I scroll through my iPod and automatically pause as I pass his name. Sometimes I'll play him. Usually Continuum or Where the Light is. I need to get Battle Studies. Other times I'll play Ben Folds, or Postal Service(NothingBetter,BrandNewColony), and of course Radiohead. In Rainbows(houseofcards, weirdfishes) and Kid A(everythinginits, idiotheque). Foo Fighters(allmylife, everlong, thepretender). Rage Against The Machine. Coldplay(death&all, fixyou). Daft Punk(onemoretime, aerodynamic, digitallove. M83. Muse. The Strokes. I'm listening to Gravity on Where the Light is right now and it is nuts. How can a music move? Evoke? This much. In so many people. People that are SO different. That's power.

Fantastic Mr. Fox is amazing. Go see it. It was right up my alley. Don't ignore the animal nature inside of you. Don't settle for boredom. Mr. Fox didn't. John Mayer doesn't. People have so much raw ability that they don't use to the full. Don't hold it back. Take a risk. Put it out there and see what happens.

It's 7am. The sun just rose.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill sunrise.
