MASTODONS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD!!

There is a 2½ mile Metroparks trail connecting two small "pothole" lakes that were carved out the last time glaciers covered this part of Ohio. The trail goes through heavy forest, over a wetland on a long boardwalk, and through a tunnel under a railroad track. It is THE spot around here to see a wide variety of birds, as well as deer and other wildlife.
The lakes have always been a watering spot for wildlife, a l o n g way back. Thus this unique playground along the trail.
