A bird in the bush

huddled in 15°F / -10°C, watching for the coming winter storm.
Cardinals are always a welcome flash of scarlet
in the gray and white world of a northern Ohio midwinter.
I think the birdies know something big and bad is on the way.
They're doing some bodacious feeding this afternoon.
