This video was taken last Monday (12/13/10) in downtown Cleveland Ohio. This lighthouse marks the entrance to the Cuyahoga River for ships coming in and out of the Port of Cleveland on Lake Erie. I was also down there that afternoon doing still photography, but wasn't dressed warm enough to make the hike to a vantage point to get this close to the light. The temperature was around 17°F / -8°C, and the wind was roaring straight out of the north at 40 mph / 65 kph. Waves beyond the breakwater were running 6-10 feet (2-3.5 m).
