[the following was copied out of a tumblr post I almost posted but didn't]

I hate seeing those "donate to me because I'm poor" blogs on here. Hardship stories my butt.
I'm poor myself, but you don't see me begging for donations, do you? No. You see my @$$ on here posting the jewelry I create, trying to get it noticed by the one person it's destined to be for. You see me putting my free time into narrating and editing spooky stories to post on my channel that I worked to get partnered on youtube.
Just because you come from a sad background doesn't mean the rest of the world is gonna bend to your teardrop. If you're creative, create and sell. If you're good at reading, then narrate. If you're good at drawing, then sell! -heck, even $1 a drawing ...imagine, after ten drawings you're $10 richer (and trust me, with a few of my friends who are epic at drawing, I'd GLADLY pay them $5 per drawing to do some stuff for me).
...could you guys imagine how irritated you'd get with me if I posted on here whining about how far I am from the man I'm in love with and posting links begging for donations?

Find your niche' in what you're good at and then make it profitable for you!
