another update for Painting Fiasco
Anything that she’d thought up a moment ago was completely forgotten as Takeru started kissing on her neck. Lightly at first, then more passionately. Nariko tilted her head back and kept her eyes closed, a small smile on her lips as he kissed her.
“Nariko?” Seki, Nariko’s mom, called from the hallway. “Your father said you needed a step stool?”
Nariko sighed and disentangled herself from Takeru. “I wish they’d leave us alone…”
“It’s okay, baby. Soon.” Takeru kissed her cheek as he set her on the floor.
“Yeah, I need a step stool.” Nariko replied, walking towards the doorway as her mom came in with one.
“Here ya go!” She said cheerfully, setting it down against the wall and walking back out. “Have fun, you two.”
“Thanks, mom.” Nariko said, picking up the stool and walking back across towards the window.
“Oh, and by the way, Takeru?” Seki poked her head back into the room.
“Yeah, mom?” Takeru replied.
“I spoke with your mom on the phone a little bit ago. Told her what was going on and she agreed to let you stay here for the night.”
Nariko and Takeru both stopped and stared at Seki, who was smiling at them. Nariko could barely breathe, none-the-less find her voice.
“Okay, see you later.” Seki walked back out and down the stairs.
Nariko stood there for a long while, staring at the empty doorway. Did she seriously just say…? She thought to herself.
“Shadow?” Takeru came up behind Nariko and wrapped his arms around her waist. Leaning down, he kissed her neck gently. “Are you okay, baby?”
“Huh?” Nariko blinked and shook her head. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Isn’t this exciting?” Takeru wanted to know.
Nariko smiled and turned around so she could put her arms around his neck once again. “Absolutely, Light. Especially since they won’t be hovering over us for any length of time anyways…”
Takeru gasped and smiled down at Nariko. “Shadow! What are you saying?”
“What I’m saying,” Nariko replied with a small laugh. “is that we can have some un-interrupted, hardcore cuddling.”
“Mmmm, I’d like that, Shadow. I’d like that a lot.” Takeru replied, then kissed Nariko once again.
