Hel

How does thisOkay, I feel like an idiot writing something in a book and expecting it to write back, but I've seen how words just magically appear on the pages so there's got to be something behind them, right ( Read more... )

It's something I'm not used to yet myself...I feel silly trying to actually write anything of my own knowing everybody can read it. It's like the ultimate stage fright, I feel as if whatever it is I put down will be absolutely stupid and then everybody will know.

Damn it, I was trying to fuck with this guy's mind. Why'd you go and reply to him?

Because that's an awfully mean thing to do, Bob!

Also I did not see your writing until I finished my own, as we both seemed to catch him at the same time.

You gotta admit, it would've been funny to see him try writing something out again.

Whatever.

Yeah well if I were on some sort of fairy tale usenet group or mailing list it might be a little easier to deal with than a magic book, you know?

And thanks for the welcome.

You've got a point there. I guess you also couldn't argue with the whole fairy tale thing as easily if you were handed a magic book instead of someone pointing you toward a mailing list.

You seem to have attracted the smart asses. Congratulations!

On a better note, welcome to the fold. You will be surprised the range and variation Fairy Tale types come in.

I'm Vegas and you would be?

What can I say, it's a gift.

I'm Dylan. Vegas is an unusual name, but then my middle name is Read, so I don't really have room to talk. But then, I'm Californian (originally) so that's pretty tame for where I grew up.

Well you didn't attract the pervs...yet.

Actually, the real name is Kaitlynn. My bandmates dubbed me Vegas when we first met. Vegas is where I was born and raised.

There are pervs? Greaaaaat.

Makes sense, plus it's a cool nickname. I'd keep it.

Bandmates?

At least it's not talking back in some sort of Stephen Hawking speak-n-say kind of voice. That would be much worse.

Actually I think that would be kind of cool. Although I'd probably have "Fitter Happier" flashbacks.

You'd think. But you're new though, you don't know what kind of shit people write in these things. Pretty soon you'd wish you were one of the tales they let kill people.
