Well, usually I like to space my entries out a couple of days because they typically take up so much time away from studying and papers that I can only updates about once every couple of days; although, now that school is done and that it's the weekend before I start work, I can update (and as Emily knows, I typically only update random things about nothingness -- like I used to during first year when we'd both post on MSN Spaces between History and Political Science classes. lol. Those were the days, eh).
First of all. This goes out to everyone at LU. I'm going to miss most of you; all the times that we've spent together, whether in class (when I actually went to class) and just hanging out has meant the world to me... The few people who actually know this already, I'm going to miss you dearly over the summer and I can't wait for everyone to get back to Thunder Bay as soon as possible. This was an eventful year for me at LU, some bad and some good (mostly bad tho, lol), and I dont know what I would have done without all of you keeping me going throughout the year. My door's always open at my apartment for whoever wants to come visit (I'll post a msg whenever I have my home phone # hooked up and I have my apartment address and number figured out. lol... It's kind of sad that I've already paid my downpayment on the apartment and I have no idea what the street number is or the apartment number is. The only thing that I do remember is where the buildings are and what the inside looks like (and what it'll look like after I'm done painting and moving in all my shit). My mom wants to buy me a little kitchen table and a nice couch (I'm debating over the colours for both and how I'm going to arrange a repayment deal with my mom. There's no way that I'm letting her spend 500$ + on my furniture when I have enough saved up to buy it myself. She's a sweetheart).
Anyway, onto the point of this entry (since Emily wanted the details from my eye doctor appointment and I didn't feel like typing all this on her wall and then potentially have everyone else ask me how my eye doctor appointment went. *sigh* lol. Communication sucks doesn't it. Anywho... blog.
So my parents and I went to the PA Clinic for 230pm, when my appointment was supposed to be. Well, at 415pm, one of the nurses takes my mom and I into a waiting room and puts these drops in my eyes (that froze my eyes and gave me the nastiest headache) and then made me to these preliminary tests. After that, I waited until about 445pm when the doctor finally saw me, put more drops in my eyes and then shined a light in my eye and referred me to two other specialists for other tests that he wants done before seeing me again. Now, I flipped just a little because I dont have the time to mess around with different specialists all over Thunder Bay when my optomitrists referred me to this one doctor because he's supposed to be a specialist with the condition that I have. So, I'm just questioning the doctor's competance, because if he's an expert with the condition that I apparently have, then I wouldn't have to go from specialist to specialist to get all this information before even seeing him again. I told him to f--- off and that if I was going to do any of these follow-up tests that they'd have to wait until after my training probation was done at Teleperformance. So rather than two weeks, the doctor's gonna have to wait five weeks before I do anything. I honestly dont care enough about this to do anything stressful about it. Anywho, that's all about that.
I'm now off to Blockbuster to rent Happy Feet and The Prestige.
TTY Soonish, Dave.
