I'm pretty much fully adjusted to my new contacts. The final few days of the sequence were essentially a non-event.
Honeybear continues to refuse to move from her spot outside. She's not even drinking the water that we place next to her face. We've bundled her up in a blanket, (on top of her own thick fur coat), and she seems to have stopped shuddering for now. But I'm pretty sure that if she weren't on a leash, she'd just wander into the woods and find a place to die.
My boss has been very responsive recently. Looks like he had someone install a keyboard tray under my desk to improve my ergonomics. And when they announced at Tuesday's meeting that we were rolling out a new version of one of our key products that day, it reminded me that some of us had already gotten training, but others (including myself) hadn't yet. I emailed my boss, and when I got in Friday, (first day of my "normal" workweek), he told me he had me scheduled for a class. When I arrived, it was just me and two instructors... and the two of them went through their entire presentation for an hour. I did learn a lot... not that I really had a choice. :-)
