Fourth consecutive day exercising; yay. I had forgotten to turn the clock back last night, ended up waking up an extra hour early, and decided to just climb higher up the mountain with the extra time. I found a neat rock formation, maybe 20 feet across, that seemed like a small house from afar, with very sharp, rectangular lines, and a moss "roof" and even a "chimney". I couldn't get a good picture, as there wasn't really a stable place I could stand to get the right perspective.
Yesterday was Sara's 22nd birthday. There was another
earthquake (M3.2) there in her honor.
I got the harness around the dog's legs, surprisingly without difficulty. But when it came time to let Honeybear in today, she couldn't even get her front legs up the step, and I ended up picking her up again to help. The poor thing looks at me and trembles in pain/fear/frustration.
Finally got the left contact lens. Some minor adjustments the first day, but then settled into the longer adjustment rhythm. After the
most recent screwup, they had promised to upgrade my shipping to compensate... only they didn't. I even caught the error before they shipped, but they claimed that the confirmation email was wrong... only it wasn't. So I demanded that they refund the shipping+insurance+handling charge, mostly out of principal; they agreed to refund shipping, but not the two bucks for the rest. {sigh}
