... but I
- Finished washing her laundry (so we can see the floor in the laundry room)
- Vacuumed (requested) and Febreze'd the mattress
- Washed the bedsheets
- Vacuumed the air intake for the HVAC system
- Cleaned the bathroom mirror (I cleaned the rest of the bathroom yesterday)
- Washed a load of dishes
- Replaced the broken VCR in the bedroom, and recoded her universal remote
- Cleaned out the kitchen light fixture (it was a little dirty)
- Watched The Godfather in it's entirety (I caught it earlier this week on TV, but sometime after Don Corleone was shot)
Yesterday, I started to get some programming work done for my Networking class - a conversion tool for IP addresses (dotted-decimal to binary, CIDR subclassing). I've decided to do it in Java, but I'm not so sure I want to use java.net.InetAddress package to do the conversions, since the constructor allows me to feed a 32-bit binary address. I want to do the conversions myself using StringTokenizer to parse inputs, but I may just end up being lazy. The CIDR subclassing I'll have to do by hand; I may just extend InetAddress to make the code clean.
I ended up making turkey burgers with corn and fresh-baked brownies for lunch yesterday. For dinner,
littledee5 showed me how to make pita pizzas (which I'll be doing today as well). I know, she's being totally spoiled, with me cooking all the time :). But hey, I can't be down here every weekend like I could while she was back in NY...
Later tonight, I'm looking into places for dinner and possibly a movie. Haven't decided yet what we're going to go see, but I think we'll be going back to
Bamboo for dinner.
