You are in a serious car accident. It is the middle of the night and you are in the middle of nowhere. You have a cellphone but it has fallen out of your reach as your leg is pinned beneath car carnage. The only way you are going to survive is to amputate your leg so you can reach your cellphone...otherwise you will die from bleeding to death before anyone finds you....What do you do? Cut off your own leg or die?
