i'm grateful for the friends and family i have. i'm grateful for my love. i'm grateful for all the positive things in my life. i have been blessed and blessed many times over. i have been granted so much good, that i scarcely believe that i deserve it.

i have lived such a short time. i barely know what to make of it. i've walked drunk through playgrounds. i've whipped litter at the earth. i've reveled in misery and pain. i've relished in love and lust. i've done so many small things.

i've accrued so little.

my memory serves as a gateway to greater things. i can search myself for a true meaning. i can search the memories for a story line. i don't think any of it adheres to a linear motion. not one single moment defines the rest.
