It's been about one year since I met these amazing people. And what a year it has been! So much laughter, tears, anger, and so many memories with all of them. What great friends I got. This really is the true gift from God.
It started with Bishop's Ball, it will probably be noted as the best night of my whole entire life. February 5th, 2005. It was a great night, with amazing company. I got to spend a night that I realized what true love is all about. I learned about Happening, and met these amazing people that have changed my life completely.
Flash forward, almost a year later, I'm confirmed! Episcopalian. What a great gift! Much preparation, a lot of thinking, fighting for what I believe in, everything. But, in the end, it was all worth it. The service today, was more than perfect. It was out of the world, it was fantastic. The preparation for the alter guilde & the service was so beautiful. I had a reading, I was shaking, but everyone told me I did fine. I love the words of encouragement that I get from everyone. I don't know where I would be, my self esteem would be shot without my friends.
Everything good that has happened in my life, I would really like to thank my friends. Yes, a lot of it comes from my own personal work, and all the stuff I do for myself, but honestly, without my friends, I really don't know where I would be.
So, this past year, has been a long one. Breakups, fights, drama, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Bishop's Ball, to Happening, to Senior High, to Happening Team, and now Confirmation. With parties, reunions and everything inbetween. I don't know, it's been one hell of a year to get to know these amazing people, and now I can only look for the years to come.
Why you ask why I'm writing this entry today? These people LOVE me, and it's so amazing. I just can't keep it in anymore. If any of my happeners are reading this, thanks. & any of my best friends are reading this, thanks for supporting me with everything. My friends threw me a surprise Confirmation party, it was amazing. Thanks for everyone who was there, and thanks for everyone who wasn't, cause I know you were there in spirit. I love you all so much. You guys have officially made my life. :)
I will never forget this day, with all the presents and photos to remind me. This is not only a milestone in my faith journey, but a milestone in my life. Thank you everyone, so much for being my friends. :) To anyone who reads this, I'm sure this more than likely applies to you.
