So at work on Sunday we had a baby squirrel come in for a check-up.  From the size of it, it was the type you'd never see out and about; only in the nest.  It was about the length of my finger and the tail was about half of its weight and length.  It was incredibly cute, even when it bit Dr. Jeffers' finger.

Here's a list of my classes this year.

Electroacoustic Music - I'm learning how to produce recordings and create synthesized music.  Hopefully by the end of the course I'll be able to contribute to the Useless Pissflaps in some manner.

General Entomology - I have to collect 50 insects and 6 arachnids by the end of the semester.  So far, I've failed to collect a flea and a leafbug at work, a cricket outside the dorm, and a grasshopper that was IN my freaking car.  My only excuse is that I don't have my collecting equipment yet.

Ethics in Medicine - Half the class is snotty pre-med majors and it's too big (35 people) to be a great discussion class. The professor is young and fairly funny, but he likes the sound of his own voice a lot.  We read The Death of Ivan Ilych as the first book; it's a stupendously depressing but deep piece of work.  Tolstoy makes me glad I don't live in czarist Russia.

Advanced Organic Chemisty - It's Chemistry, it keeps me sane, 'Nuff said.
