It's been a long week, so of course I haven't written in my journal. I never manage to write about stuff that's actually worth remembering! Grandpa and I drove to USC on Monday for my interview with processing and my doctor's appointment in Glendale. Got the job, so I'm employed at least for a couple months (so great: casual dress, hour lunch, two paid breaks, I can bring my iPod, and weekly paychecks), and Alcyone in Human Resources said she will be helping me find a permanent spot in Enrollment Services. I have to remember to send her my resume! Saw Aaron, Kim, Shannon and Sonia, and went to say hi to Jakita and Matt in Senate (sorry, USG). Grandpa and I had a latte in front of VKC and talked about the changes to the campus (Galen Center looks great!) before going for lunch at Philippe, where I had my first ever French Dipped lamb sandwich. Dr. Vukasin was late and after a brief probe he said I may have to get reconstructive surgery (eek), which was somewhat a relief because something will be done but who actually wants surgery on their...derierre? I probably won't have to see him again, which is fine, and he referred me to a doctor at USC for the surgery.

Mom and Dad and Emma went with Andrew to Disneyland on Monday while I was gone without telling me. I would have been perturbed but Emma and Lauren and I were going to go on Wendesday anyway, as Andrew could get us in before his shift. Mom decided to buy a ticket for Kendall too so we could all go, because Andrew could only get in three people. We had a great time, even if I was a bit slower than usual. Andrew made some driving faux-pas, after each of which we quoted Fozzie's driving-problems phrase, "No probleeeemmm!" We took pictures in front of the castle, went on Matterhorn and Mr. Toad and then I decided I did, after all, want to rent a wheelchair, so we went on Pirates first because Andrew said it was hard to get on with a wheelchair. Of course the ride broke the hell down when we were almost at the end and after about half an hour the cast members came and evacuated us. FUN! We got free fastpasses so we did Indiana Jones before Kendall and I went to get the wheelchair. After that we met Luana and her family and went on Splash with her. I was worried about getting on with the wheelchair but they were so nice and we had no wait at all on anything except Space Mountain, which was lots of fun. We managed to go on everything we wanted AND see the fireworks and get prime spots for Fantasmic, still my favorite show ever. Andrew met us after his shift and we did Indiana Jones again and went home.

Thanksgiving at Grandma's was nice, even if Julie wasn't there and Carla was being kind of mean. Didn't eat much and was perturbed that no one brought home leftover turkey, but Grandma brought some up this morning. Grandpa got me a USC hat at Stater Bros and we watched USC beat the Sun Devils (yay!) but I wasn't feeling well so I went off to bed.
