Well - despite the rain, I made it there on time (9 am), although I was soaking, since I don't have an umbrella, and don't know where my raincoat is (no hood, sigh).
I think I'll do just fine at the job - I got a brief tour, and a deeper explanation of what the job is, etc.
The company has just started expanding into San Antonio, and is growing by leaps and bounds, which could be a good thing to get in early - either to stay with the document handling (read: mail processor, but for other companies), or to move into other areas w/in the Business Process Outsourcing division.
I emailed the HR person who did the phone interview yesterday, and she says she'll get back with me once she hears from the guy I interviewed with today.
I DO need to work on my interview skills, if this job doesn't work out. It's hard not to come 'natural' w/o sounding smug, and/or scatterbrained. Heheh, gotta love that: a scatterbrained smug 'know it all' - that's me!
But I'm hoping they'll take me - they're looking to increase the department by a whole bunch, so it's not like there are lots of applicants and only one opening. And if I start in July, benefits start in August - not too shabby!
So keep up the good thoughts :)
