Always another level :-)

Normally I fly SouthWest. They have a fair fare structure, good flight attendants, good record of getting places on time, and for whatever reason I always get my bulkhead seat. And no stupid baggage fees, no "$1,000 to fly 500 miles" surprises, and stuff like that.

They're worth it to me and I normally fly them.

However I had to go from Appleton WI back home to BWI so I flew Delta back. Got a fare for $350 or $400 if I went "First Class". So since I would have to pay the extra baggage fees and such I went for the better ticket. Figured I would law over here in Detroit for a bit and relax.

Well, they took my bags without problem, I got through Appleton security on "priority" (meaning I went in front of my Dad :-), and I got on the plane with my carry on baggage first. Nice. However here in Detroit I can't use the sky lounge unless I have an Amex Platinum card (Gold don't work). So grumpy grump.

However I do have a nice seat for the flight back to Baltimore. And I should board first. And have my dick waxed or something. :-)

Hm. Maybe I should get a Platinum card for my company or something. If I do enough flying it might be worth it. Will see :-)

But in the meantime I'm going home, all is well, I'm a bit sleepy and all that so it's good. Ate a lot of good food at camp, feeling very fat, will see what the damage is tomorrow morning :-)

Back to web surfing here with the normal people :-)
