Take a picture of that riff
Last night was probably the brightest night I've ever seen. I couldn't get over how lit up the sky was. It was twilight for hours. Yesterday was the CMJ festival show for Robotic Empire and Neurot Records. Unfortunately I couldn't stay after Kayo Dot because people were going to be coming over but I was glad I got to see and say hi to them before the show. I wanted to see the other bands as well but luckily all of them will be on tour and back really soon. Most of the day I spent hanging out with Matt, Blythe and their friend Sean who was really cool. We went to a store that I can't remember the name of but sold framed insects, skulls and a megaladon jaw! I think I want to purchase a megajaw and make it the entrance to my future home.
Today was practice, we're about 5 songs into an album and plan on writting about 3 or 4 more, it's coming along really well. The new stuff is pretty incomparable to anything we've heard, I can't wait to record it. Our EP is coming out in October and we plan on having a release party for it, I'll give further details as soon as I get them.
Whenever I walk inside a starbucks I can't help but want to unleash monkeys into the place.
