I was super-attached to the places where I lived as a kid, and it was very hard to leave, even when I was old enough to do so. So, totally understand.

I also had an awesome time at ComiCon and actually cosplayed, as Codex from The Guild. I plan to be her for Halloween,

Would love to see pictures if/when you have the chance!

Good luck with the move -- hope it goes smoothly!

Yes, I was thinking about how you felt about the Bay area, lol. I so indentify myself as a Brooklyn girl that this is quite weird. Queens feels quite alien to me.

You look great! :D Thank you for sharing the picture :)

I totally hear you! When we were looking to buy a house, we started out looking outside the city (although still like only 10 minutes from where we live right now), and also the area of the city across the park from us, but very quickly realized that those places just didn't feel right and concentrated just on looking in our neighborhood XD

I hope you get acclimated to Queens without too much trouble (the only three days I've ever spent in NYC we lived in our friend's apartment in Queens, and that was quite nice! There seemed to be a lot of good restaurants, especially South American ones) and/or find a way to move back to Brooklyn before too long!
