My whole thing with children and censorship is this...
I understand how busy parents are, but I think that they should take more of an interest with what their kids are doing. Games are a $50 purchase (on average). You even need to show ID for the M and up games. I know that parents are a lot busier in this day, but most don't even take the time to even talk to their kids, which is kind of sad. I believe that if someone were to explain to a child more about the content of whatever they are viewing, then maybe children would see through the veil, instead of drowning in the... I just spaced. It is almost 5 in the morning. I could have just deleted that last little bit, but I think that I wanted to blow whatever point I was making about responsibility off. =/ Oh well.
Do you have Unreal Tournament? The game engine in that is so fun to use. You can import Maya and 3DS Max files into it, too. Very cool.
Troy is going to be awesome. I must see that...
Are you going to Comic Con this year? It should be good there, mainly because I am going to get some lightsabers. Heh. I think that I might work the booth, as well.
I think that it is time for be to sleep. Keep on truckin' (I think that some friends and I came up with a good meaning for that, but it is far too late to think of such things right now).
Vidgames: I bought the Playstation 2 a few weeks ago, and a stack of games, but haven't touched it yet, oddly. Am looking forward to it. (Which is really odd, because I used to be a fiend at going to the arcade tossing in quarter after quarter for vidgames when I was 20sh)-
I don't have Unreal Tournament--- though the idea of importing your own files into a game does sound very cool.
Troy I may see again. I think I really expected it to suck, so that may be why I enjoyed it as much as I did.
Comic Con is actually a definite 'no' this year, unfortunately. Money and family things. Next year for sure though!
Lightsabers, eh? :) Very cool.... "Keep on Truckin"--- that's an old 60's phrase! Funny if it's coming back in style.... Groovy. ;)
