Number My World

Sorry to keep you waiting. I was working on an entry comparing "My Own Worst Enemy" with "Raines" and "Blind Justice" while contrasting it with "Monk," but I may need to scrap it. Anyway, I'm sure that with a little research, you can come up with a platonic ideal for what I was going to say.

Now, I just remembered that one of the reasons I started this LJ was to display puzzles, and it just so happens that I came up with one this morning. These numbers are in a certain order, and each is the smallest one that follows a similar rule related to that order. As a hint, I may need to point out that I'm calling 10^9 a "billion" and not a "milliard." (Do the British call 10^15's "billiards"?)

100
4,018
21,000,002
807
1,000,000,014
5,081
5,011,000

Find the rule. If that's too easy, find the number that would make the list six terms long instead of seven.
