I'm fixed!
What a wonderful surprise to come home today to find my roof and ceiling fixed and a wonderful new addition to my porch .. a roof over it! At no cost! I was nearly in tears yesterday when I contacted yet another roofer to come fix it and was told that where the FEMA tarp was placed the roof need to be redone for $1600.00. $2900 if I wanted a whole roof. Well, the insurance company sure didn't quote me for FEMA nailing the damn tarp into my roof. So I called Josh's father to ask him about this. He told me that the roofers were trying to sell me a roof and not to listen to them that he would take care of finding me an appropriate roofer because the holes can be fixed with roofing calk stuff. So I get home today, everything is fixed and a bouquet of flowers with a note from Josh's father that said, "We love you, enjoy". AWWWWW!!!!!!!
Tonight, I'm so happy and thrilled and grateful and just a bundle of emotions. I've called Josh's father to thank him and just got off the phone with Josh, who left Monday until Thanksgiving to go to California on a site. Josh told me that before I even called his dad it was in the works as a surprise. Anyway .. I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU!!!!
