I've been so wrapped up in this and that lately that I haven't had time to post!
I had a wonderful visit with my brother and sister-in-law. I miss Stephen so much. We are the closet and he lives too far away and always has since he graduated from high school. It was wonderful to spend some one on one time with him and I hope to visit him in Iowa in November.
The high school sweetheart reunite was boring. I had to keep asking myself what I saw in him as a kid for he is still a momma's boy and has no sex appeal. He had few words to say and I found myself carrying the conversation continuously. Needless to say, this reunion wasn't what I was expecting it to be but I suppose it was pleasant enough to realize sometimes those old flames are not worth igniting again.
As for Eric, I had plans that fell through at the last minute but his agenda and mine could not put us togther for a "strickly business" meeting. We were able to chat a few times on line for which I enjoyed. Those convos brought back a few memories of the aggravation I put up with from him, but it borders the nonsensical whimsy of aggravating that always puts a smile on my face. I wish him well as he returns to his post in Korea and remind him that Soju is only good with food, not for chugging! *burp*
Welcome back to New Orleans Bobby! I do hope you find that spark of life that brought you home. The city has a way of keeping its arms wide open and as soon as your feet hit the concrete and you smell the food, hear the music, you know just where your heart belongs. I wish you and Pixie the best of the best and I hope I get to see you both very soon.
Happy Monday to everyone. I'm off on a jet plane to Houston in a few hours for a seminar.
