Twilight - horribly disappointing. I didn't want to see the movie because I read the books. The books were great and very suspenseful. Aside from being just another vampire setting it was the suspense that kept me reading. Now that I've seen the movie, I feel like the producers could have expanded a bit more on the vampire clans and the reasons why Edward and the others are so attacted to Isabella. This movie reminded me of the remake of Titantic. The ooey gooey love story between the innocent and the predator so to speak. Of course the books included the same love story its just that books go into more detail that keep you reading I suppose.
After discussing this with a few others that read the books and saw the movie I was told that in the forthcoming movies they will more than likely get into the things they didn't in the first one. Why would they? The movie is such a hit playing right into the hands of the love story theme. Details were left out of the first movie that to me were important in a series. Or maybe I'm just the argumentative spectator who thirsts for the informative versus the arousal of my sexual aura. Isn't there vampire porn out there somewhere?
Classic line: "How long have you been seventeen". "A long time".
Ya think?
