1) Who do you think is the vilest villain in One Piece and why?
The World Nobles, no contest. If I have to pick out a single one, it would have to be the one who shot Hatchi, but really, they are just the most viscerally depraved and decadent villains ever. They are every excess and evil committed by any noble throughout history dialed up to 20, and right from the beginning I just loathed them so much, and every further appearance just made it so much worse.
2) If you could explore either deep space or the deep ocean, which one would you pick?
Deep space. Start Trek forever!
3) What is your favourite episode of Princess Tutu?
The last one, where they kick drosselmeyer's butt and claim the happy ending they so richly deserve.
4) Which Sentai series have you enjoyed the most so far and why?
Thus far, Mahou Sentai Magiranger. The characters are all deep and multifaceted, very well developed, the themes positive and upbeat in the face of incredible adversity, the Infershia Pantheon is still the best villain group I've seen, there are so very many badass, important ladies that the series treats with respect, and when the series ends, it feels as though the whole world is going to change in a big way, it's not just going to be business as usual. Really, watching Mahou Sentai Magiranger is a lot like reading One Piece for me, it just feels right. Also, I plan on rewatching it soon and taking notes, so you'll probably hear even more of my thoughts on this wonderful series.
5) What would you say is the best movie you've seen so far this year?
I don't see that many movies, and while I'm sure I saw this one "last year", I'm going to go with True Grit. It was just utterly amazing every step of the way, and Mattie is so badass and awesome and focused and driven, and if there was justice in this world, Hailee Steinfeld would be up for best actress and would win it by a landslide. Maybe, I haven't seen Black Swan so I might not know what I'm talking about there.
