This week is a very kiddie-oriented week (seeing as it's the only week over the summer holidays I'll get to spend time with them during the day).

Yesterday, after a leisurely start, I took the kids to Bridlington by train. They've been saying for quite a while that they wanted to go on a train, because they couldn't remember the last time they did.

It seems like nearly all kids are totally smitten with trains. I know my mother's Godson (who's 6) always wants to go by train, even at the risk of having to visit me with my mother (he doesn't like me). Unfortunately, that fascination wears of if you spend 3 hours in trains a week :)
