[Original Author's Summary/Note (Feb.-May '07)]: Why are the brothers Winchester at Seattle Grace? Sam had to get that cast somewhere [post-"Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things"], and I need him to go cuddle up to George because they both need somebody, with the extreme daddy angst they're working through. This takes place right around the time George finds out about his father's heart problem and his cancer [early season three], and in the SPN 'verse, we're just a short time passed from John's death. Really, this is a character story. It explores the relationships between the Winchesters and between George and Izzie (who are their own little family). Then it considers how these sad folk might interact, and how they might help each other out, specifically Sam & George and Dean & Izzie.
