How stressful is my life right now?
Let's see:
I haven't exactly prepped for teaching at 8 a.m. yet.
I haven't finished reading my classmates' papers for workshop tomorrow afternoon.
I am two days behind on a writing schedule that would've made a 30-page paper bearable, but which will now be my typical sprint of 2-3 days nonstop. (Bright side--the damn thing's all outlined and ready; it's just waiting for the words.)
Despite all this--because of all this? (I do rather enjoy being anal when I'm stressed out)--I stopped and spent an hour cussing and teaching myself to do a mail merge from a MS Works Database to a customized form letter in Word. And it worked. \0/
(And it better work tomorrow when I show the undergrad advisor, because these bitches need to be printed out from his computer on university letterhead. It better not give me shit taking it up from Works DB to Access.)
And now, celebratory, I shall eat some pudding and go to bed and pretend that I won't end up just as behind tomorrow.
