As promised...here are some pretty bad iphone pictures of the dresser I re-did.
Todd gave it to me with tonnes of scratches, peeling cream coloured paint and beat up plastic green knobs. I cleaned, primed it, painted it a deep plum colour, painted the knobs, and put wall decals on for the decorations.
I ams till not sure I like the ones on the bottom and I think I will probably take them off.
So...What have I learned from all of this? I really, REALLY love furniture restoration. I think I can really see myself getting into this as a hobby. Visioning and planning and executing this type of art is so satisfying. I also was taught how to rebuild the drawers since they were pretty much in shambles. I am proud of my work and it will look FABULOUS in my bedroom.
