A girl on my f-list, jatg, made this for me because little Amy mouse was my favorite character in the Red Sparrow comic strip. Though I haven't seen Amy recently. Hmmm.
2.
My mom took this picture when she took me to some sort of Girl Guides of Canada event--hence the blue girl guide hat. For some reason I just really like the picture.

I also like playing with some of the affects that photoshop-type programs can do. In the original, full-size picture you can see that I'm actualy playing a game of cards (surprise, surprise)
Interests
1) CANASTA My mom played cards with me ever since I can remeber. I started playing Canasta with my family at about 10 or 11. Its a favorite, but man is it time-consuming! I still remember playing it in the high school basement with as many decks of cards as possible and making a new round called the canasta-canasta round.
2) CROPPING For some reason, some people refuse to call scrapbooking scrapbooking. They call it album-making or memory-keeping, or just cropping. I do love scrapbooking.
3) ENUNCIATION It bugs me when people don't pronounce things properly! Not that I'm an expert; I was raised saying "aldult" and "aldultery". But once I learn how to pronounce something right, I want to enforce it!
4) KENDO If I were to ever learn a martial art, I would like it be kendo. I don't want to punch people, but I would love to hit them with sticks! At one point I did look into the cost and the time commitment and talked about it with Michael, but then it kind of got forgotton.
5) NEWTS I love my little newty-kins. I should make an icon just for him! Whats not to love about newts? My newt is aware and attentive and likes to make eye contact and follow you from one end of the aquarium (or as I have been known to say, acquarium) to the other. And he's easier to take care of than a dog and produces less allergies than a cat.
6) SWEDEN is a part of Micael's genealogy, which is one of my other favorite interests. Michael says that if he were to travel anywhere it would be to London or Scandinavia. I'd like to go with him.
7) WORD ORIGINS I think its so fun to learn about why we say the things we do. Did you know that the words "man" and "woman" do not have any common origin? Did you know that avacados got their name because they look like testicles hanging on the tree? Its just one of those trivial things that interests me for some reason.
