Yesterday, my 2010 Honda Civic hit 130,000 miles. A brief timeline really highlights how little I've driven my car since I started working from home just over four years ago:

October 2012 - I buy a 2010 Honda Civic with 22,389 miles on it.

Birdie's sleep patterns right now don't give me time to take her to the lake in the morning, get home, feed her and shower and be ready for work. Instead, I've been taking her down to the lake right after work whenever the weather allows it and there are no other conflicts. On January 10 I bought gas for my car right before Birdie arrived, on the assumption that having a full gas tank was one less thing to worry about when dealing with a new baby. - Trips to the grocery store every ten to fourteen days, all of which involved ordering curbside groceries.

I happened to buy gas on Friday, March 13, which was my last day in the office. Since then I have bought gas exactly twice: once on May 11 and again on July 12. I've still got half a tank left so I probably will get through a nice chunk of September before my next tank.
