Sick Day
Just got home early. I took a 1/2 day for my first sick day since 2007. Aggravatingly, I felt fine when I went into work, but I very quickly got a runny nose and a slightly sore throat. I'd power through it, but I have a four hour presentation to give on Friday where there really isn't anyone who can back me up, so I figured discretion was the better part of valor and went home to recover.
On the (additional) downside, I had to cancel a date AND a concert tonight. On the plus side, the sweet, sweet pwer of Nyquil is kicking in.
Still, three sick days in 11.5 years isn't too bad.
EDIT - Took the next day too. 3.5 sick days in 11.5 years, as best as I can tell.
