Checking in
LJ, I have neglected you. Shamefully, completely, I am so terribly sorry. Predictably, I come back with a tale of woe.
But for those who prefer to read sunnier news, a brief update on 2013 so far:
- I still have a headache, almost 3 years on. Recently had a neurology appointment, the consultant seemed to have decided before I got through the doors that, since I am a young (still, I think) woman, it must be a migraine. No further action, other than trying asprin as a painkiller as a change. Still, nothing serious I suppose.
- Boy and I are still happily playing house. No further progress on a wedding - you're no doubt astounded to hear this ;)
- Mum has had her MS diagnosis change; it's definitely now primary progressive, which is BAD, but she still seems to be on a moderate, rather than severe, downward slope, which at least mitigates things.
- In sort of related news, I am still at the MS Society. Although I'm now dealing with similar issues about being demoted by default as at Lincoln, so that state of affairs may alter soon.
And finally, I've had a bit of unfortunate news, re. cervix. That's probably enough news for those of you who don't like medical stuff, so I'll continue that anon...
