Walking in to work this morning, past the little church on the corner of St Cross Road, I saw something that had me reaching for a non-existent picture taking device.  I also half-wish I could draw, so you could see what I saw, but I'll have to try and paint it in words

This is the reason we all carry cameraphones around with us nowadays.

Ach the camera on my phone would have done it no justice at all. If indeed I'd remembered at the time that I had one...

Until cameraphones get really good (the Sonyericsson K800i comes close), I carry a compact digicam on my belt for such moments. OK, so it makes me look like a bit of a geek, but hey.

Much as I appreciate pretty pictures, I'm never going to be good enough at taking them myself to need that sort of thing!
