4 days in the rain are not beneficial to ones health, it would seem. (Who knew? :p)

This weekend looked something like:
Friday: in and out of the Freshfields hospitality tent watching Summer Eights,.  It rained on and off all day.  Then walked home.   Wearing a skirt so got properly cold.
Saturday: dancing in the street and then watching Summer Eights.  Samara was lovely company, but again it started raining and I walked home (cos I figured I could watch the top 2 divisions on my stroll down the river and still be home and in bed by 8).
Sunday: Late afternoon coxing in practically torrential rain and wind (then walking home)
Monday: coxing in the rain then going to salsa (bus home, for the novelty of it)

Combination of bad weather and activity means I have in fact done what all old grannies everywhere warn about and caught my death of cold.  Actually, I think chill is more accurate, since I can't decide whether I'm hot or cold either - heater's on for a bit, then off...

Am surviving on Beechams Hot Honey and Lemon, Boots chesty cough medicine and hot Ribena, but I think working would be a lot easier if I could a) speak b) breathe and c) move without feeling like I'm being sawn in half (cos that hasn't gone away either).
I wish I could go home and sleep it off but my boss is away so I'm in all day.

Joy, joy, joy.
