Time Off?

Le weekend approaches, and what should be my relaxation time away from work is being eaten up ridiculously quickly.

Tonight I'm DJing at Green College for their "It's a Small World" Bop, which could be interesting. The students are collecting CDs of various different genres of music, so I have no idea what I'm going to b epresented with, although I'm also taking some bits and pieces of my own.

Tomorrow is rowing, which is basically going to take up my entire afternoon, since after we finish our double outings we have to row down to City of Oxford and get the boat ready to be trailered to Bedford.
That evening I'm at an acappella concert in the Oxford Union, which will be wonderful. I've been listening to Out of the Blue all week and am really in the mood to be serenaded (even just as a member of an audience!)

Then on Sunday it's Bedford Head, where I will be all day. Literally. I'm unimpressed with my rowers' general lack of organisation, and I'm also not happy about coxing a course which I have never seen, and have had no information about. My college captain has said I can have the coxing pack (the regatta organisers sent it this week) tomorrow, in the typical late minute way of operation that all rowers seem to have. I don't think the crew have quite worked out the difficulties of coxing, or the fact that I'm cross at them and nervous about the regatta at the same time.
I know that certain of you will be thinking "just give up then" or "it's your own fault for taking it up in the first place" and you're right. But the crew are doing well, as their results last week indicated, and I'm enjoying having the opportunity to cox a first crew.

Then Monday morning - guess what? Early morning outing.

I am relying on the Out of the Blue boys, and the company this evening to somehow preserve my sanity.
