Internship

So, I'm moving to Oxford in approximately an hour, ready to start work on monday.

I'm less scared now, probably due to the helpful endorphins from salsa class last night. Mind you, once the dance teacher tried to kill me several times by throwing me at walls, pillars, plants and the like, I pretty much got over any fear I had about today and started worrying about surviving till the end of the dance.
For some reason we were the only people on the floor, and Gorka took advantage by using all the space and sending me off, among other things, on countless double spins. Sadly, he was too busy watching to see if I'd interpretted his signals properly to notice what I was heading for, and I was too busy trying not fall over in front of all the watching people (everyone from class was 'resting' and just stood and watched).
That said, I can see how far I've come in 2 and a half months - I'd never have been able to do half those things a few weeks ago. Plus I really enjoyed it - by the time we went into a huge overdip at the end, I was worn out but giggling.

Well, better run - I have a car to pack. May not update for a while as I'm not sure what the internet situation will be, but will fill in the details soon.

work, dance
