I feel restless. As if I should be doing something but I'm not sure what. I find myself with time on my hands now...
Kyia'nu was bit by some bug today..he squalled like a dying thing, and his hand swelled up mightily, but I think he'll be alright. He's running a slight fever as well. I took him to the med-center and checked him over, but I admit that I'm not the end all be all of doctors. I still have a lot to learn.
Kyia is resting right now, curled up at my side. I keep checking his breathing, feeling his forhead and checking his tempurature. He didn't eat much tonight and I did dose him a bit with a mild pups painkiller. A'nu said to just keep an eye on him what doesn't kill the pup will make him stronger; still doesn't mean I don't worry though. I'll just keep him close to me the next few days, make sure infection doesn't set in and that he's not slowly being poisoned. I consdered contacting Adah about it...but when I heard her over comms tonight, she said she had a headache, so I didn't want to pester her to see Kyia.
I hunted a bit with father tonight, it was fun somewhat. Nice to be working together as a team again. Nice to see him smile. He takes so much seriously and I think he sometimes forget that there is the aspect of fun. It was nice to see his colors turn to ones of excitment and happiness, instead of the serious and quiet colors he tends to cling to.
I sense a change coming..but I'm not really sure if it's for better or for worse.
