I'm in the middle of packing right now. I have the pups things prepared and now I'm just getting ready to lock down the houses and pass off the security codes to father. I'll be reachable by only those I really want to deal with. The rest can well..sod off.
Kyia'nu is excited by the prospect of just mommy him and sister going camping. A'nubis will join us at a later time, but for the moment I need time to myself. I'll also be meeting up with River and possibly Nic and she can spend time with us as well. I look forward to not hearing the comm chime in my ear, look forward to spending some time away from Sands and Fiarr.
Now if I could stop feeling guilty for abandoning everyone else.
But, I look forward to spending time with Asha and Kyia. Both are doing so well with their growth and development. Kyia is keen to latch onto any lessons we give him; though his attention span varies depending on what we're teaching him. He is quite happy to pounce on bugs and devour them, though not so keen on learning patience.
I think I will try to exercise his attention span a bit. Teach him how to fish...
Asha is still far too young for such things...she'll have to be content to splash around in the lakes and play in the grasses.
