Rainy days
Hi there,
I've slacked a bit on my daily updating goal. I blame a combination of rain and final exams. Exams have been going pretty well I'm done with all of them except for my business exam, which is tomorrow night. It'll be nice to be all done and to focus my efforts solely on finding a job. I've been applying like mad but I haven't had any luck yet. I'm starting to get a little nervous because, at the end of this month, I'll no longer be financialy solvent. I've worked hard and saved a lot to be able to live independently and I don't want to give that up now.
In more amusing news, I sat in on a meeting of the Wayne County Republicans last night. It was very entertaining and I had a fun time chatting with them and listening to them swap ideas and stories over beers and margaritas. It was a good time and I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone for this particular experience.
The Biggest Loser was AWESOME this week. I was so impressed that Ron managed to finish the entire marathon when, not long ago, he couldn't finish a half marathon. And I'm thrilled that Tara is in the final three! She's such an inspiration.
I'm looking forward to the thunderstorms tomorrow and I'm planning on devoting one hour to curling up and reading while listening to the rain and thunder.
