So the day started with me doing as little as possible at work. Went to the Flaky for lunch, because I forgot a knife and fork for my lunch from home. They had those coconut cupcakes that I love, love, love - so I was off the Paleo wagon. Then Jeff decides that we need to have cake to celebrate Tom making it a year at TTI. Still more refined sugar and grains, just so I wasn't the odd man out.
Thankfully, the WoD today was a good one. Warm-ups where grueling as usual - 3 minutes of jump rope, then various back and forth floor exercises, before working on PVC pipe. The actual workout was a two part. Part one we worked on squat form. 30 reps each of the following: squats with a medicine ball (20- pounds for me), wall squats and then overhead squads with the PVC pipe. Part two was working on finding your one rep max OHS. I was able to work up to 115- Lbs, with two good squats and one okay, so, I was close to the one rep max, maybe 10 to 15 pounds more.
One more day at work then off to my interview. Oh and I got a new iPhone 5!
