(no subject)
I'm 21 today! We went out to breakfast at the restaurant this morning and I had my first legal mimosa (all other mimosas I have had were given to me by my mother when I was like...12+ I might add), and then the cooks tried to give me a waffle topped with a shot glass full of bourbon. I had to turn it down to look responsible in front of my parents before going off to work, which was sad, but I'm sure someone drank the bourbon, so at least it didn't go to waste.
My birthday present was that my parents fixed my bike for me. It needed a LOT of work, so I'm glad it got the repairs it needed. I'm mobile again!
Tonight we're going to the bar at the restaurant where my uncle works to have a pre-dinner drink, then we're going back to Milo's to have dinner. After dinner we're going to a jazz performance at a customer's cigar shop and then out to play cards with my uncle and cousins at a bar. AFTER THAT I'm going out with a couple of friends to do lord knows what.
I have a designated driver, cab fare if I need it, and a really awesome family. :)
