Dear Iran,
hello, I am an American and I am concerned about your nuclear program. as you know, the "leaders" of my country and a few other leaders don't like your idea to build a nuclear power plant. they think it's dangerous, and you might use the technology or waste for weapons. also, as you know, my country invaded your neighbor under the suspicion they were building weapons... and we all know how better off Iraq is because of it.
Nuclear power is not a good idea. yeah, I know you want to show the world your technologically advanced and can really on your selves. but it is very dangerous. nuclear accidents happen, and then a chunk of your country becomes inhabitable for tens of thousands of years. people will die and suffer if you continue your project.

however I understand your cause, and support your ambitions. I have a suggestion that will not only shut the US and UN up, but also show the world what power technology can be used for, and maybe make you a little money too.
I assume you have a large desert waste land your not using, right? did you know a 100 square miles of solar panel arrays would be more then enough to power the entire US? I also assume my country consumes more energy (electricity, not oil) then yours. if it's more then enough for us, then it should not only fulfill your needs, but then becomes something you can sell to nearby countries. the sun is free and is constantly providing "fuel" for solar panels, so you do not need to spend money (and lives) mining uranium. solar panels rarely (if ever) explode or meltdown, again saving lives and valuable land for the next thousand generations.
by building such a power plant, you not only show "bigger countries" such as the US, that you are devoted only to energy, but also shows you care about the environment. ok, you also have free energy coming in that you can sell to the dudes next door. when oil dries up, your going to need income from somewhere. as the leader in solar energy, your country can further develop it's technology to become more efficient, another export and more money. the rest of the world will then look at Iran and see a country on the rise, not a glowing wasteland, or another "Iraq".

I know I am not a scientist, in fact I am just a 23 year old who does not want to see world war three in my life time. I do not know how much such a power plant would cost, but I do know it will provide your energy as long as there is a sun, and make you money. it's a just 100 square miles of desert no one is using, verses a country no one can use. I hope this finds you, and you take my suggestion into consideration and hopefully into practice. I also hope it doesn't reach you too late.
thank you for reading,
concerned American
