I got a small promotion.
It turns out night shift is screwd for the next six weeks, and they need me to cover and train new people.
My manager referd to the shifts as crews. I was the crew leader for "swing" shift on the days i worked, and the other guy who works my shift on the days I'm off is the other crew leader. I asked if this ment we could get arm patchs on our uniforms indicating what crew everyone belonged to. Turns out he already had the idea, and is all about fronting the cash to make it happen.
Christmas was... well, i had to work and it turns out in the desert it only gets hotter and all the AC units where overheating and spewing 90 degree air at over 20 tons per foot/hour. It's funny becouse the problem started friday, and becouse of the holiday no one could do anything untill today... and it still did not get fixed.
