Because Clint isn't as good an interrogator as Tasha and he isn't willing to open up as much as she was/could of - and Loki likes to string things out (and tends to repeat himself.)
(I.e., this stupid conversation is never going to frickin' end, omg!) ::headdesk:: I can't even figure out what they're working around to. It's very different and is changing *everything*, dammit all.
