Kevin Rudd got sworn in as our new Prime Minister recently and one of the things he has done recently has been to sign the Kyoto treaty, to be honest, this makes me quite a lot happier to be Australian now that we finally have a leader who actually cares about wanting to care about the future of our planet, leaving only the shitty polluting America to not sign the treaty. I think this is amazing that I'm part of a generation that really wants to do something revolutionary and truly do our bit to save the world, if only America stopped being such a horrid nation then we'd get the ball rolling and also the developing countries in Asia too I guess.

In other news I've tried to take various peoples advice in regards to reducing stress, I've tried taking a lavender oil bath which was very peaceful and quite relaxing and certainly got me thinking about a few things and the reality is there is little to think about really it's just a lot of stress, chaos and pressure making me think there is.  I also got an electric massager, a stupid impulse item I thought when I soon got it but my god it's made up for it within the first day or two, it's doing some wonders after some pretty horrid days at work though.  Too bad as soon as my girlfriend noticed it vibrated she, well, ummmm, use your imagination.  XP

I've got my cosplay outfit in the mail today, for those who don't know, I'm going as Reno from FF7/Advent Children, it looks decent, nothing special or too much like him but I'm giving it a shot, having some fun and taking a lot of pics in the process.  What else will be fun and coming up will be Christmas, unfortunately atm it's mostly headaches in regards to my family being absolutely impossible to buy anything for but I'll give it my best shot I guess, failing that I'm looking forward to the Christmas break in regards to being away from work and being paid for it too, w00t.

A somewhat positive post for me, not too common these days so enjoy it while you can.  :)
