Ralph McQuarrie wasn't well known at large, perhaps, but his art helped the world "see" Star Wars as well as many other science fiction movie concepts.
In other news, "rock soccer" has given way to the purple fuzzy ball "mouthcarry" game. In order to look as adorably doofus as possible Andromeda slobbers all over this poor defenseless toy while parading it through the upstairs of the house. Why she picks it back up after dropping it is the great mystery of the ages. . .at least this is a quieter expression of fun.
I am pleased to announce that I am past the first stage of dating, meeting people, and have now progressed to the "what was I thinking" stage of the process. It's enlightening.
