JHB, 8mo.
Aaaaah, my sweet little boy is 8mo old now.
Just over 17lbs, which means that in a month he has gained 2 lbs, mostly in the last 2 weeks.
I haven't measured his height though, but I am sure he has grown there too.
He is sitting up, rolling over when he wants to, and can stand with assistance.
Teething, but still no teeth.
Approved foods is yogurt, bananas, applesauce, mango, pear, plum, sweet potato, and carrot. Still waiting on squash, probably for another month. I have added peas, green beans, apricot, cottage cheese. I have also been using star puffs, kix, cheerios, veggie booty and bread as side bits during dinner. He has been a really solid eater
Mostly sleeping through the night, last night he managed to sleep through till 4am. Then he woke up a few times after that before we all decided to get up. Eh, still not too bad.
We will be moving him to the Cyert Ctr on campus in the middle of August, and this is turning out to be harder for the teachers at the daycare than it is for me. I called in to ask them to fax me the immunization records, and I got the Asst. Dir. who was very sweet and sent it over. Apparently if I had gotten the Director she would have likely "by mistake" sent me the reverse side... (all friendly-wise, not nasty I should say. One of the infant room teachers has asked me if it was okay that she kept one of the picture print outs of Josh for her car. (we were a featured family, so there were pictures up on the bulletin board.
They are apparently really really going to miss him.
I plan to bring in some banana bread or something to soothe their pain....
I am starting to think we really DID win the baby lottery.
