Executive Summary: He is still the cutest baby I have ever had.
So, Josh turned 7mo. on Wednesday this week.
We went to his 6mo appointment, but he ended up having a fever of 102 and barfed all over my lap in the dr's waiting room.... so, no shots happened that week. We went in a week later for the shots. He managed the battery well, and was only cranky on Saturday
Both appointments he weighed in at just over 15lbs, and 25.5inches. I am fairly sure he is heavier now, and certain that he is longer.
He is now up to 3 solid meals a day, yogurt for breakfast, (homemade) grains with fruit or veg, and a fruit or veg with only just enough (commercial) rice cereal to get the texture up to what he likes. The list of approved foods is yogurt, bananas, applesauce, mango, pear, plum, sweet potato, and carrot. I made squash for him, but his face got red and itchy, so that is getting saved for when he is a bit older.
He is getting much more wiggly, and more animated as well. He is getting sign language at school, so I try and do so as well. He is pretty expressive all on his own, so it is pretty easy to figure out when he is done eating, or when he is hungry.
He doesn't really roll over onto his tummy yet, but he really prefers to sleep on his side currently. He loves being surprised, and we have the early signs of some separation issues...
Anyways, time for me to go to bed. I leave you with his first school photo!
